About

Nom.Prénom.ch is a creative project not a brand. Born out of a desire to slow down and create meaning, this anonymous project explores fashion
as a territory for reflection rather than consumption.

The project's manifesto articulates a vision in which clothes become intimate objects, capable of carrying memories and creating lasting bonds with their wearers. Inspired by the idea that
“ideas think us”, Nom.Prénom.ch questions temporality, transmission and authenticity in clothing design.

The research focuses on one-piece pattern making, a technical approach that reflects the project's philosophy: to create unity and fluidity in constructive simplicity. The project seeks to demystify fashion by revealing its processes, while creating garments that accompany and transform their wearers.
We use our leftovers to make linings or filling for garments. The leftovers from our leather production are used to make our business cards.

We are located in Switzerland, we develope and produce everything in house in our small atelier.

Manifesto

We need to slow down

We want to make clothes for people

Not for anybody

We want to make clothes for the ones that project themselves into their clothes

We want to make clothes that recalls memories, memories of the past, memories for the future

We want to demystify fashion

We want those people to interact with their clothes

We want to put the light on the clothes

We want people to know how clothes are made

We want to help people, making them feel more comfortable with themselves

We want to create clothes that feels like soft armors for the people wearing them

Orders

Each Nom.Prénom.ch creation is born from an encounter: that between a timeless design and a unique material found in second-hand shops or recovered from deadstock in the textile industry.

This approach imposes a fertile constraint: the materials are limited by nature, making each piece truly unique.

The designs remain available over time, but evolve according to the materials found. The same pattern can thus be reinvented depending on the fabric discovered, creating a constantly changing collection. New models are added to the catalogue periodically.

The creative process follows a human rhythm: a maximum of one month between order and dispatch, the time needed to allow the perfect piece to emerge. This deliberate temporality contrasts with the immediacy of ready-to-wear fashion and allows for an in-depth dialogue between designer and wearer.
